I really like the design of this tarot card and how it relates to the term “Lovers”. From the design we see two skeletons holding hands amidst what I assume are peonies. Generally, peonies symbolize love, good luck, prosperity and honour. With the two skeletons still firmly connected even though their bodies have deteriorated brings out the meaning of “Till death do us part”.

The main thing that attracted me to this design was how angry the bowl of ramen looked. Its expression, paired with how well drawn the noodles and its condiments were, gives off a “try eat me if you dare” vibe, which makes me want to eat it more. Quite a good marketing tactic I’d say!

While browsing through book covers, this one caught my attention. It’s so simple and yet it conveys the title of the book perfectly. I have never read this book, but I could emotionally feel what the “loneliest girl in the universe” is going through. If the quote “A picture says a thousand words” could be visualized, it would look something like this. Props to the illustrator!
